As Reading Specialist and Enrichment Teacher (STEP), I wear many hats
at Precious Blood School. I teach Title I Reading for primary grades and
remedial reading to students in the intermediate grades. I have been
teaching reading for the last 28 years. I am also involved with the STEP
program in grades 3 through 5
as well. This really keeps me on my toes.
I can be found in Room 5 along with our speech therapist and school
psychologist. Often we work together along with other teachers to
determine the needs of specific students beyond the regular classroom.
In addition, I have coordinated a creative problem-solving program
called Destination Imagination for interested students here at Precious
Blood for the last 20 years. We have had teams every year at the
regional competition.
