Third quarter brings exciting learning, a lot of social interaction, public speaking, and debate for the seventh grade.  They will be teaching a few grammar lessons in groups to the class. Students will also be writing and researching persuasive topics to ready themselves for debate teams. 
 
To help me this quarter, I am privileged to have my dad, Vince Corrado, helping me and the students once a week.   He will give the students some real-world examples of how to present an opinion effectively and also how to work with others as a team.
 
Students will continue to work on creative and story writing.  Journal writing will become more consistent this quarter, so if your child does not yet have a journal for the classroom, please pick one up soon.
