Marty Corrado

Marty Corrado is a Contruction Superintendent with Skanska Construction Company.  He has a much different story than many of our other speakers.  Marty explained to the students that he never went to college but has had to work extra hard to keep up and get to where he is today.  He was also a father at a young age and has to travel extensively and live in many different states for certain jobs.  The eighth graders appreciated his honesty and humor.  The students learned about job wages, harassment rules, and what it's like to live at the top of a tower crane all day.  They also enjoyed an on-line speed camera version of the Miami Valley Hospital job from the beginning to present.
