Dr. Dennis Hodson

Dr. Hodson made a strong impression on the students.  He has been a vet for over 35 years and has worked on many large animals such as horses, cows, and other farm animals.  He's had to endure a lot of injuries, surgeries, and very long hours with little pay for his line of work, but he told the class he would do it all over again.  Dr. Hodson has a great sense of humor and a sincere love for animals and helping people.  The eighth graders learned from him that really loving your job is more important than making a lot of money.  They especially enjoyed the X-rays he brought in to demonstrate some medical conditions in dogs.
