Welcome to Physical Education. This is my first year at Precious Blood and am so excited to be able to teach here. I look forward to teaching the students about how to be physically fit and how to maintain that fitness throughout life. I like to teach fitness through sports, both competitive and recreational. Home and School has been gracious enough to purchase some new equipment for the physical education program. I am very happy about this, and I am sure the students will be too.
I grew up in Indiana about two hours north of here. I went to college in Indianapolis at Butler University and Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis (IUPUI). I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. I have been married for 2 years now to a wonderful man, Jeremy. We are currently in the process of purchasing a new home so we are really excited and really busy. I love participating in outdoor activities especially tennis, riding bike, running, walking, and swimming. On rainy days you will find me inside cooking and baking, usually from scratch. I also love to read and crochet, although I never seem to find the time to do either as much as I’d like to. I also coach cross country for Versailles Junior High and High School. This will be my 3rd year as an assistant coach. I am a huge Indianapolis Colts fan and love watching the Butler Bulldogs play basketball.
