Classroom rules:  3 Simple rules

HONOR the quiet, a portion of each class will be quiet work time. The amount of quiet time will depend on the grade and project. It can be very important to the creative process.

RESPECT all students’ right to learn and Mrs. Emery’s right to teach by participating in class and taking care of the classroom.  Participation can be sharing ideas through class discussion, working independently on one’s own work, or being a good listener. Take care of the classroom by putting materials in correct place, assignments in assigned place, pushing your chair in, cleanup your mess, and make sure the room is ready for the next class.

ENCOURAGE one another’s growth as an artist and a person by positive constructive criticism. Ideas you don’t like may still be good.

I also follow discipline procedures set by Primary, Intermediate and Junior High Teachers.
