Sketchbook - Junior High Art
Sketchbooks are an effort grade collected and graded twice a quarter. Sometimes students will do an exercise in their sketchbooks for a grade. They will know ahead of time this is graded separately from sketchbook grade.
An A+ Sketchbook will have all one minute drawings (list is kept front of room), each drawing is dated and in order. If student is absent they need to mark absent and date. I look at effort put into each drawing. I am not looking at ability or skill levels in the drawings. For 7th and 8th grades 10 points of the grade will be the art categories page.
Classes that
have every student turn in sketchbooks on time will be rewarded by Mrs.
